Scorpions
When we are trapping for reptiles we often catch uninvited guests. The two species of scorpions we caught this week are the Arizona Striped Scorpion, and the California Common Scorpion.

Wow! These things scare me. We lived in TX when I was little and I found one of these critters in our tub. my mom killed it with a broom. I was 5 yrs. old at the time. Thought it was a new pet. I here they can be deadly, but don't know much about them... Good site, interesting & educational. BG http://truthnotjustajourneyadestination.blogspot.com/
I am a Field Biologist working and living in So. California. I work mainly with endangered birds but also spend a lot of my time collecting and processing plant specimens. Along the way there are days where I may work with reptiles, mammals and even insects. I like to document my daily adventures with photographs which I will post on here as often as I can.
